Thuan Chau passion fruit cooperative

Products: fresh passion fruit and passion fruit juice. The cooperative has linked with Northwestern Nafoods Company to support people in the production and consumption process. According to the signed contract, people are provided with capital and technical support. In the harvest season, grade 1 lemons are purchased by businesses for 35,000 VND/kg for export. In addition, the business also buys lemons for processing. When the market depreciated, Nafoods still supported people to buy with the insurance price of 5,000 VND/kg. Thuan Chau Passion Fruit Cooperative currently has about 70 hectares of passion fruit cultivation, the average output is about 20 tons of fruit/ha/year. In order to improve the efficiency of passion fruit cultivation, this year, Thuan Chau Passion Fruit Cooperative cooperated with Agrico Loi Tuoi Co., Ltd (Moc Chau), to bring Thai Bao yellow passion fruit to households. All 20 hectares of Thai Bao yellow passion fruit grown by cooperative members are provided with seeds by Loi Tuoi Agrico Co., Ltd. first, when harvesting, people have to pay for seedlings. At the same time, the Company commits to buy fruit for participating households with the insurance price of 10,000 VND/kg.
