With the desire to better farmers’ capacity and networking with comsumers, thus, improving their income and increasing the efficiency of business development in the agricultural sector, the Department of International Cooperation (ICD, MARD) and the National Agricultural Extension Center (NAEC) in collaboration with the Agribusiness Japan Desk (ABJD) Project, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) organized the Workshop: Connecting supply chain stakeholder and meeting market demand and the MoU signing ceremony on improving farmers’ capacity and marketing network between the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and AEON TOPVALU Vietnam.
This workshop is also expected to enhance the understanding of the functions and roles of private enterprises and other stakeholders in the supply chain in operating an effective agricultural extension system in Vietnam.
